School Rumble, that dizzy romantic school comedy, is possibly the most amusing anime I've ever seen (That is, with the exception of OHSHC) and is still, to this day, full of rewatching quality. Aside from the obvious laughs and secondhand pain from embarrassment, this anime is filled with subtle, yet impression-making morals. I remember this clearly as a first for me. Well, with being a suburban 4th grader at the time, I wasn't exposed to much. Sad life.
Summary:
School Rumble surrounds a group of teens dealing with their love lives while attending school. The main story follows the delinquent Kenji Harima, who is hopelessly in love with second-year Tenma Tsukamoto, who is hopelessly in love with Ouji Karasuma, who is hopelessly oblivious of pretty much everything but curry. He loves curry. Then we meet their interesting friends, which include the seemingly stuck-up rich girl, Eri, the loud class rep, Hanai (who's in love with Tenma's sister), the quiet, wise girl, Akira, the creepy perv Imadori, and many more. The events that happen at their shared school are both interesting and hilariously sad as they move the plot forward with the failed love confessions it centers around.

- The Art
beard and sunglasses, the creators chose an interesting direction to go. While some choices, such as
certain characters' eyes, would suggest a more shoujo feel, most of the male character design
certain characters' eyes, would suggest a more shoujo feel, most of the male character design
related more to the shounen fan base. Overall, great job design team! You have everyone's vote.
- Comedy
Of course, with it being the very top of the genre list,the comedy of School Rumble is the most important
aspect of the anime overall. The center of this anime's
comedic antics is the love triangle of Karasuma, Tenma,
and Harima that can be portrayed in a simple bike chase
around the neighborhood. But not to be mistaken.
School Rumble's teen love branches off to even better
things. This may include how Harima desperately tries to woo Tenma with the sweet side to his normal bad boy demeanor. Of course, knowing how Tenma is so taken with Karasuma, Harima's attempts are pointless. Throughout the episodes, there will probably never be a period of time longer than 5 minutes when you're not laughing.
- The Music
Okay, you probably wouldn't think that along with all of this comedy, there was a diamond in the
soundtrack. But...there is. Yui Horie's opening (aside from being one of the characters) in the anime
is another great thing about the show. My personal favorite is the very first ending of School Rumble.
It's very catchy and contains a lot of "Lala"'s and gets stuck in your head so easily, it's amazing.
Overall, awesome anime! I totally recommend it.
